Custom Orders
Custom orders are the life blood of our business. All our pieces can be customized with your brand, initials, different designs, etc. We are only limited by imagination and budget.
Our Process
The first step is the initial consultation, usually by phone. This is where we get a general idea of what your looking for in the custom piece. Pictures of examples, brands, etc. are really helpful here. Next, we will draw up and email you a concept proof for your approval. This is also where we get a better idea of pricing estimation. Once we finalize the concept proof, your order goes on our Build List. At this point, we can give a pretty good estimated time window for when your order will be ready.
Our waiting list for building custom pieces varies, but generally runs 4 – 6 weeks, with the exception of Christmas time.. To accommodate that lag time, we do not ask for payment or a deposit at the time the order is placed. Instead, we have found the best policy seems to be one where payment is due at the time of creation. We will contact you 7 to 10 days before your order is scheduled for creation. At this time we will finalize the details of your order and issue an invoice. We accept payment in cash, check*, credit/debit cards, or PayPal. Once the invoice has been paid, the creation process begins!
(*) - If paying by check, please expect an additional 5 -7 business days for the check to clear all financial institutions..
